Right so in recent months my ****ing has got a bit out of control (again!) and I've reached a point in my life where I need to actually do something about it. So as the title says I'm going to attempt to do a whole year without spilling a drop, sounds incredibly ****ing hard but gonna take it a day at a time and see how I get on. I've done it with various things in the past including drink so if my mindset is right there's no reason why I can't do it again, right? Basically gonna use this thread to give updates on how I'm getting on and almost blog and keep track of my progress. You lot can use it to offer moral support or to you know, take the piss a bit and tell me what you're ****ing on Not even saying I'll definitely do the whole year but I need to do a decent period of time of a minimum of 3-6 months plus and if I get that far then it will encourage me to keep going. Poll added Ps... Sorry if I plagarised a few words in this thread libs.
I was reading @The Liebherr Legacy drinking post and realised it would be more amusing changing a few words in the opening post.
Not negatively. Temps have dropped slightly (a pleasant 30C today) and it's windy and less humid. Expecting to be hit overnight. Even though we're right in the path as slow as it's moving we're only getting 40mph winds when it reaches us and only 6 inches of rain. We got 10 inches from the remnants of the last hurricane that came through and that didn't make landfall anywhere near us. All in all sounds like it will be a non-event where I am. The coast got it all.
Indeed. Oh well. Got the outside of the house cleaned up and I didn't have to do it. Thursdays the Mrs doesn't work and she was panicking about the storm so she picked everything up outside and put it away. Good job the storm wasn't coming Monday or I'd have had to clean up outside.
Just read your previous post again . Pleased 30c . Sod that . In gran Canaria atm . 30c and way to hot for me . 70% humidity yesterday as well .
Going to Cape Verde next month: I know it's the other side of the Atlantic, but do they get these hurricanes brewing up?
When it's humid (and it's usually humid here) it feels uncomfortable. It's not been too humid last few days so actually feels nice.
I honestly have no idea... I think the storms we get normally start off the coast of Africa and strengthen as they move across the Atlantic. I don't think they're hurricane strength there.
'Eight months of rain in three days'. Crikey, it looks like scooping up the Atlantic on its way to you.
This should have been a Metths thread. Although he'd probably last about an hour, before he knocked one out over Pogba, or a plant pot.
