Not quite sure what to make of one at Wolves! In the 6.40 Krampus was 100/1 last night! 9/1 in places now but you still 28’s available! Strange one
Bookie led gamble or maybe they fancied their chance of a place when there were eight runners. On pedigree the drop back to 6f would not seem to suit.
There's a group on twitter all forcing the drop. They all plan to cash out so should drift like a barge later.
ayr,2 05: well, the long break isnt ideal, but ELEUTHERA has gone well fresh before, and is back on his last winning mark.so,if ready to go today, can be competitive..
ripon,2 20: NINA PETROVNA is a wee bit more exposed than most here, but her two second placings look easily the best form on offer, especially in that kempton maiden,as the winner and the third have gone on and showed, they are classy performers.so,that should be enough to score today..
2:40 Ayr - Retirement Beckons 5/1 should win this. Ran 3rd over 6 furlongs a couple of days ago and I reckon the extra furlong here should so the trick.
ripon,3 25: this might be fought out by the two big improvers,THREE SAINTS BAY and restive spirit.the latter is much respected, and has a course and distance win to his name, but the o meara inmate might be a tad more streetwise, even though hes has been clobbered by a 12 lbr rise for his last win.but he has the potential to do better still,so gets a narrow nod here..
Never been a fan of "drifters" but WILD FLOWER is now a very tempting price (8/1) for Windsors opener.
wolves,6 10 perhaps only a handful with serious chances here, and DUTCH MONARCH looks primed to go well again.her win last time out looks strong form, especially,as the third was 10 lengths away.so,open to more progress, and a big player here..
A small (shrapnel) ew patent in the last 3 races at Ballinrobe for a bit of interest. All ran at the Galway festival, got supported beforehand and ran ok without troubling the judge. High Expectations, Head Turner and Magic Sea to get some compo in these calmer waters.
