According to a survey carried out by Trinity Mirror Group we are the 8th most hated club in the Prem at 36% of the survey sample. Ffs we haven't even started playing there yet. Just shows what a large number of half head, racially motivated muppets were in their sample. Understandably Chelsea were top of the tree followed by Man Utd.
That could help us in our battle to stay in the division next year. The fans and club will unite and become a force to be reckoned with.
What a complete waste of newspaper print. These jounos must be desperate to come up with something new each day; this is as bad as it comes. What next? A list of City players favourite food
I see the club that hates us most is Wolves - a bunch of overblown arrogant sods if ever there was. Couldn't stand their fans superior attitude when we were going up there early last season - they thought they were going to stuff us and got a shock.
Fug me BFB pal, my apologies! I’m off the pace again! Thing is I’ve sort of wanted to merge with you for some time now...I like the older man...hmmm!
Back in the day, Wolverhampton Wanderers were THE team in the old First Division. Stan Cullis, Billy Wright, The Beverly Sisters on the bench.
Some will hate you for just being a Welsh team. Start winning games and then you will see the percentage increase.
Just a touch before my time Vetch - but only just. I distinctly remember my father and uncle Jim banging on about Wolves when I first got taken to NP as a nipper back in the mid 60's. The only real memories were the names Derek Dougan and Ernie Hunt scoring for them. Since then, the only other time I've taken notice was when our very own DJ got them promoted back to the Prem but that's a few years back now as well.
Derek Dougan, what a player he was. He ended up at Peterborough, and they played the Swans in a League Cup replay at the Old Vetch. He scored, inevitably. Played really well, difficult to mark, and great in the air. 'The Doog'. In addition, he was a very intelligent, highly articulate man. So unusual for footballer's. He was guest speaker at an end of season 'do' I attended, back in Tosh's day. Very impressive individual. Ernie Hunt died last month. He scored a very famous goal for Coventry City. It's on you tube. Worth looking at. Whatever happened to DJ ?
Just found another stat, but we're bottom of this one. Cardiff have the lowest 'record signing' in the Premier League with £11M for Medel (though 2 of this year's are there or there abouts). Next lowest is Brighton with £14M for Locadia.
That's a stat to be proud of. The Premier League is just a wasteful pit, where unearned money is thrown around like there's no tomorrow. Profligacy rules, and that's a fact. Medel was a good purchase at £11 mill.
