The boy was hit hear his eye with the knife after Michelle Meeson, 41, went on a rampage after drinking vodka and taking amphetamines. Neighbours saw her shouting, swearing and throwing chairs in her garden in Golborne, near Wigan. Police described her as ‘sweating’ and ‘unable to speak’ when they arrived on the scene while the boys was found with two black eyes. He also had bruising around his neck as a result of being lifted and squeezed by the neck. At Bolton Crown Court, unemployed Meeson pleaded guilty to child neglect but escaped with 15 months imprisonment suspended for two years after insisting she was ‘genuinely remorseful.’ She claimed to have a ‘very limited’ recollection of the incident on July 28, 2016. Meeson had 37 previous offences on her record dating back to 1995. Her lawyer said she uses drugs as a coping mechanism. Is that the best defence he could come up with?!
Should have claimed she said, "Smother him with my tits", and that the wee man was in to sado-masochism. Honestly, I should be a lawyer.
