Someone had to bring it down. Yes he's tried to bring Moyes in 5 times and managed once. That makes up for the club being ravaged in debt. Let's just enjoy it Marcus fella eh.
You sure you want to do that? I don't think you find a single person from the Anti ES brigade who thinks Short has wanted the worst for the club. Byond me why Marcus has accused us of such. On a feel good thread too.
? Not bringing anything down at all but a lot of vocal people were very anti Ellis due to various appointments yet it seems he was trying to get his man who turned him down due to honouring contracts? I'm enjoying it but my point is at the ones who slated him for the hiring and firing rather than the money side.
If it ain't broke it don't need fixing and Moyes has common sense in spades. M'villa wanting to be back is a huge testament and DM's dealings in the transfer marked for Everton were pretty good.
Maybe we should rename them the impatient brigade and we can only refer them to Leeds, Bolton, Blackburn etc. If a manager is convinced that a player is the one he needs, a four year contract is usually rolled out.
Ok then, lets get more specific. Who from the Short out brigade has suggest he's wants less than the best for the club? Don't like coming on to feel a good thread to find you've pigeon holed me on a notion fabricated entirely in your own mind. I'm going to say something fella.I'll leave it there so not to spoil the thread 2+2=4, you must think it you said it. I want to make it abundantly clear, I know Short wants what's best for us.
What you on about? You preaching to the converted man. I'm happy with Moyes. What's this got to do with me and my 'crew' apparently thinking Short doesn't have our best interests at heart?
Dammit Ellis! Couldn't you have waited until I got back from my walk along the prom? I'm 80 minutes behind everyone else!!!! Well pleased!!! We haven't hung around! Still 3 weeks of friendlies before the season starts for him to get to know the squad. And for them to get to know him. It would be great if the same efforts have been going on trying to get Yann back at the same time!
My point was aimed at those who have categorically stated that he's not doing the best job for the club on a managerial front. I Shouldnt have labelled the entire "short out" brigade as I should've been more specific. But there are people on here who have stated this much. Didn't pigeon hole anyone I just put out a comment to those who have been vocal in slating him for his managerial appointments. I didn't mean it the way you took it (in any way shape or firm from what you said previously) and didn't put it across the way I wanted.
I don't think they have fella. I'm one of those people for a start. But I'm well aware he didn't do it on purpose Marcus. He's made mistakes but making a mistake does not exonerate a person of fault. He hasn't done it intentionally. Would love to know who the people you think have, are? I don't think they exist personally. If there is anybody I've got your back, but if there's even one person who's done it, perhaps you should call them out instead of the generalising, otherwise people like me are left thinking, 'was that directed at me?'
Just read the thread and am happy with Moyes and the speed of the appointment. Obviously Sunderland had been working hard behind the scenes to get everything in place for this to happen like it has. Welcome to SAFC Mr Moyes and well done Mr Short for at last getting your man.
We have got the man I have wanted for years. I think we have a bright future ahead. It will take him some time so everyone need to be a little patient. 3 signings needed ASAP: Milla, a rb and a centre forward. Then a creative midfielder. I think his priority will be getting a sorted back 4 first. Will be interesting to see if some of the players out of favour with BSA get more of a chance under Moyes? Did we sell Giac too quickly?
Well you're not accusing anybody directly. I think you maybe you are, either that or you daren't say who you really mean. Usually one of the two when people make sweeping comments.
