Would rather have Yedlin at RB than Richards for the same money any day of the week. So i'm hoping as someone mentioned earlier that if we do get him then it will be as a centre bk. Everything happens for a reason and i honestly think Moyes is a step up from BSA but apart from keeping us up i will always be thankful that he has left us with the 3 quality signings from january!
I'd take Fellaini all day long but don't think our wage budget would stretch anywhere near enough. Not at the expense of Yann either.
Or it was ages ago so I can't remember who it was but there were definitely a few. You seem to think you know everything about me and, because you disagree with something I say, you have to push for something that isn't needed. I know I saw these type of comments. I already accepted that I shouldn't have made it so sweeping but you keep on going? Why?
They are certainly not in a bad state Giaccerini may have had a similar role to Piernaer at Everton but we move onwards now - Moyes Boys -We all need to support him and the club with positive Sunderland banter - keep doubts to ourselves for now
Well done Ellis Short and all at Sunderland...best signing for a long time and the 4 year contract says it all...now lets all be patient and give the man time and space to work and develop his team, even if that takes a season or two. Best chance we have had at stability for ages, I for one am really excited by this appointment.
Fellaini on loan would be a good shout, I doubt we could afford the wages to buy outright. Midfield 3 of him Milla and Kirchoff would be class. He woukd also be a bit of a target man going forward for Defoe to play off. The more I think about it the more I think it would be an ideal signing.
Like what? So on a feel good thread you're having a pop and somebody you can't even remember?(yes we've gone from a whole crew to one person you can't remember) ****ing hell Marcus, Oh well. At least we got there in the end and people don't think your comments were aimed at them for what in reality was a fragment of a memory from the past. Glad you think it was worth bring the thread down for a half arsed point aimed at nobody in particular. Jesus Wept.
Personally I can't stand Fellaini because he's a dirty little (or big rather) **** who loves to elbow people in the head and stamp on their feet, but in the long standing tradition of hypocrisy that comes with being a football fan I'd be happy to see him at the club. Seems very unlikely though, even if Mourinho doesn't want him he'd get more money elsewhere.
Bri Marcus was just asking a rhetorical question - you answered with a financial debt answer - don't think he blamed Ellis Short for not doing his best for the club. Football business fortunes are subject to constant change - esp up here - ... In my opinion - it's onwards now
Great watch, he knows the score, I expect it to be another week before he starts looking at signings as he will have a look at what he has got first. When he was at utd he looked like he had aged about 100 years, on that video he looks refreshed and relaxed. Good to hear Short has given him some assurances too. I think we will make some solid signings, I don't expect any big glam names as it's not Moyes way, he will build a team rather than focus on individuals.
Moyes presents himself as a focused passionate man on a mission - he see n s to really want to be here and take our youth players on board - hopefully with Jack Rodwell In full flow
So true that's why we tend to be salt of the earth and level headed - some are typo illiterate and not forum savvy
Yet only you got on the defensive! Chances are the people (yes people as I mentioned there were "a few" not one as you state) may not even use the forum any more. It wasn't aimed at you as I stated many posts ago (yet you keep going on) it was aimed at the ones who I remember having a go at Ellis for his managerial appointments. Not the financials. Jesus wept indeed!
