There seems to be a lot of chatter going on over the net that Moyes may soon be looking for a new job. Would you take him if the opportunity arose.
Mind you if it did would the controller stick with Pards so he wouldn`t have to shell out for sacking him. Could be another opportunity lost.

Should be given the chance just like AVB should have been given at both Chelski and Spuds.

As for would I want him here - no! However, if we were told the only person we could have instead of Pardew then I would say yes.

Sky Sports sources are reporting that he could be sacked within the next 24 hours. I think this one has legs.

I would take him as a replacement for Pardew.

Ashley would want Moyes; he'd love a manager who's used to working with minimal transfer funds.

Just as long as he doesn't bring Fellini to Tyneside.

As to whether I would want Moyes? No. That's too negative an appointment and will only lead to more years of underachievement.

Are you serious, you wouldn't take moyes????

Look what he left at Everton. We have to get real here, we ain't going to attract a world class manager.

But a manager with a point to prove....... that is something I would take!

Do I think Moyes is a top world class manager??? - NO. But he is a lot better than that crock of grey hair **** we have atm!

Gotta be better than Pardew and certainly better than Pulis.

If you could get rid of Ashley then Keegan is still the best choice for your club.

No, I wouldn't want him to replace Pardew.

I don't see any betterment than what we've already got.

One of the criticisms of Pardew is 'style of play', and I just don't see how it would improve with Moyes, whose philosophy has always been try not to lose, rather than going out to win.

I would rather have Pulis, Bruce and other number of has been managers/coaches before Moyes.

I want an improvement with a young manager - the next Martinez, Rodgers or even Sherwood, not someone that will take us backwards - another Souness or Allardyce.

Not that it makes the slightest bit difference, MA will decide who we get and it wont be who anyone will want.

    NO, NO, NO to Moyes.

we be lucky to get any manager to work under ashleys way .. main requirements of the job ..

as little as possible money for transfers , for which we will try and sell them on for a profit if any good.

promise the fans big signings on the way then afterwards ,just say we failed to get them over the line .

divent worry about the cups ..we want the pl money etc.

also as little squad as possible

be thick skinned ..we aint wanting to improve anyway .

sure yous can think of somemore ..

No, I don't, but then again I haven't taken notice of how Palace are playing, but it was commented on lately that they aren't playing the long ball game under Pulis.

My point is that I wouldn't want either of them to be the next manager.
    Both are backward step IMO.

If Moyes gets the sack as seems likely, I think he will be 'damaged goods' and it will be difficult for him to recover at another club, and coming here will only compound his problems.

How many times have we been through this same scenario in the last 20 years, appointing so called top managers - Dalglish, Gullit, Souness, Allardyce, only for them to fail miserably. Moyes and his like fit perfectly into that bracket for me.

Time to take a gamble and try and move forward instead of limping along year after year.

But as we all know it wont make the slightest difference who we hypothetically say we want as MA will give us who he wants.

Di Matteo, Beardsley, Sherwood and Pardew appear the only options.

Another no thanks for me. I'd like to see us do something positive for once. Get a young up and coming manager who play modern football. I don't want damaged goods.

I'm not sure Moyes would be much of an improvement long term. He has consistently displayed a negative approach to football which is just not the way we want to see football played.
