recently started watching a French series called "Dix Pour Cent", English title "Call My Agent". 4 episodes in and enjoying it. It revolves around a talebt agency. Each episode has guest appearances by actors playing exaggerated versions of themselves.
Just started “ The Alienist “ **** me it’s dark, watched 2 episodes and am at a crossroads, whether to carry on or sack it off. I honestly think Dakota Fanning is a terrible actress, no ****ing idea how she gets the films she’s in, man on fire apart. Mind you with Mr Washington in a movie you kinda not really take much notice of anyone else in it. I feel very uncomfortable watching a movie with child exploitation in it.
its a bit mad with the lead female juggling a day job and dubious night time earnings plus aspirations of becoming a detective. for some reason I now find her beautiful. on series 1 episode 6. we watched Dark another german series and managed to stick with it to the end despite constant "which one is that???"
can anyone recommend a decent spaghetti western? one of the old classics preferably. Im not into the new dull stuff.
8mm is about snuff movies but has Nicholas Cage in it. Something weird to watch is Dont **** with Cats.
I had the same with Dark. Even after watching all 3 series I can’t quite decide whether it was a work of genius or a load of pretentious bollocks. Possibly both I suppose, but either way it got confusing towards the very end.
Was going to mention Lupin myself, for once it's a good modern reworking of a old classic. You do know on Netflix you can watch it in original language with English subs, would never watch anything dubbed personally.
Anyone watched “ The morning show “ Just found it and watched the first episode, love some of the actors in it, Reese Witherspoon, Jenifer aniston and Steve carell to name but three with a fair few more really good ones.
I'm still ploughing through Spiral on BBC Iplayer. It gets more outrageous by the episode, the police are incompetent psychopaths and the higher ups are corrupt to a man/woman. Give me Vera any day...
Oh mate I love Vera... best police drama bar non and a Brucie bonus we have visited almost all the areas it’s filmed in, a beautiful part of the country. If it wasn’t for this ****ing covid would of been there last year and this...
