Never Go Back

So when you are young you like certain things but for lots of reasons it isn't quite the same when you go back.

This happens with loads of things, places, food, drink, films, books etc.

So what have you revisited and been totally disappointed with?

 

I'll start.

Newcastle Brown Ale, used to love it but it's not good.

Remember going as a kid and thinking it was great, went back about about eight years ago for a weeks holiday and it was a bit **** to be honest. Rained all the time.

 

I used to love Minehead Butlins as a kid, I'm not ever trying that one out again.

 

Angel Delight. ****ing **** these days.

 

Agreed, used to love that stuff but it's rank now.

 

Tell you what to never look at, the bird you said no to in school cos she had braces and a pair of glasses... never look this person up on social media.

 

There is a reverse to that mind.

I used to sit behind this girl with the best legs you'll ever see, good looking, nicely developed chest for a 15 year old.

She's on Facebook, lives in fookin' Arkansas now or something. Not good.

Yeah the fit birds from my school are probably all stinking now with 6 kids each.

 

I'm only 25, every fit girl is a proper minger now, they're fit so they're the first to have a bunch of kids and go really downhill.

The girls who were mingers, they're skinny, good jobs, proper beauties. But, all the lads who used to be the cool gang are also ****ed, the lad who almost used to rule our school in the last two years is living in some caravan now without a single friend. Karma init.

Weymouth is a bit **** to be honest.

The beach is lovely, it was London Olympics year and they had the yachting there and such like.

All Weymouth does is make you realise why people **** off abroad on holiday.

 

There are some very, very lovely outlier areas mind.

 

Can't really think of anything at the mo, but I remember going to one place when I was young, and thought it was an absolute fooking shhithole...Blackpool! Memories that have scarred me for life!

 

I also hate Blackpool.
