That's what I'm guessing. They might at least have put 'The End' on one of the black frames. Still, it was one of the best, and longest, and slowest moving art-house movies I've ever seen!
11:45 on the 30th was the last photo but it clearly isn't finished at that stage. Walkways were still to be laid down matching the other blocks, but 98% finished from that angle. I'm really keen to see what it looks like inside and what the view is.
Mrs GG cannot understand why that picture is a thing of beauty. But it is. Beautiful! Sorry , ignore duplicate post!
So I believe that I now know what has happened to our webcam. "The reason became apparent today as there is a great big wrap around the South West corner now." Anyone at the game able to say more?
Searching back I find an advert on the SW corner for Orbital Fasteners. Need someone with a Stanley knife to cut a hole in it.
Frenchie, there is indeed a new advertising banner. There is also a new Rookery End banner. Stadium starting to look pukka
I looked for the camera when I was last in the ground and also have seen the picture of the banner. All very good to have banners around and I hope that some appear in the east stand. There is a huge legends one being produced at the moment with Big Cliff, Scully, John Barnes and Luther on it among others surrounding GT. The web cam has been hugely popular with fans on just about every forum I have seen. Some would like to see it there as a permanent feature, even if only to watch the ground staff cutting the grass and painting the lines. Not likely I know, but when you live a distance from the Vic and visits are few and far between, it does actually keep you in contact with the club and make you want to be there in person.
please log in to view this image That is some seriously good camera work! OK, brilliant we have a four-sided decent stadium now and I am chuffed. However, this pic makes it look much better!!
Is the new stand finished now or is the only work under the seating? I read of the transfer of seating from some ticket holders so the stand must be near to completion. Strange to sit in a stand and stand on a terrace.
