If true, timing is good with the international break coming up and our next fixture not until Sat Nov 19th home to Norwich. There's now a couple of weeks available to assess, interview and line up a new manager, hopefully not Sherwood, Big Sam could likely get the job done. Personally I would like to see a "dream manager", in Paul Clement - how about that appointment for tradition.
Half of me is actually glad......the other half of me is fearful of which utter muppet we'll probably get next
Hope not Big Sam and fear he's tainted after the England fiasco. Sad for JFH, in the way that I'm always sad to hear someone has lost their job, never fun. That said, I'm glad a change has been made with time to salvage this season, or give someone time to start building something this year for next season.
Clearly warranted based on results but does make the next appointment crucial as don't think we can screw up again. Does show what a waste the last few seasons have been when decent managers have been available & we haven't gone down that route.
I suppose the timing makes sense. Did the players know today was a must win and did Henry get sent off deliberately? Just a thought. Big Sam? Tim? Please can we try (harder) and get it right this time? 1st game for new person is Norwich at home. Tasty. Disappointed but on we go, hopefully upward this time.
