Only an interview but he comes across very well. I can honestly say He will get my backing for approximately 23 minutes at least tomorrow, and we'll go from there. Ha'way man
Neil said: “It is a privilege to be Head Coach of Sunderland AFC. Everything that I saw from the players this morning made me really confident and gave me belief, so what we now need to do is replicate that on a matchday – when it matters – under scrutiny and under pressure. Our task is to try and win as many games as we possibly can and at this moment in time we are focused on this season and this season alone.”
I love that he thinks league one is below his level. Exactly what we need imo. I had my doubts, but that interview has won me over… I think.
Ive just seen his first interview on Facebook has anybody else? My optimism is through the roof now in all honesty after seeing that
Just watched the interview. Even though its been a **** show, I think getting this fella over Keane maybe a blessing in disguise. I love Keane but we need to move on from the past and nostalgia
Said all the right things in that interview, as you’d expect. I’m sure fans of his previous clubs said he gets off to good starts, so fingers crossed we get that tomorrow.
I have it on my phone put it says the files too big to share on here. Any doubts i had have gone now. I cant wait to see us after tomorrow's game once he can put his stamp on things
Comes across very well and clearly knows and understands what SAFC fans want from our team. If them players do go out every week and leave everything on the pitch then they'll all get our backing. Now lets get some points on the board!
I'm sure it's not been a lack of effort from the players mate. Hopefully Neil will get into their heads and allow them to play without fear. When we are on top in games no one can live with us
Haway the lads tomorrow and best of luck to Alex Neil Let’s get out of this god for saken league once and for all.
bliddy hell thank goodness for the announcement...i was dreading waking up tomorrow to the news that emergency services had been working through the night saving all those people throwing themselves under the settee (well, they wont want to really hurt themselves will they), now can we all just get back to supporting the club and stop worrying about what goes on behind the scenes at the club as none of it is under our control...we may be sh1te the morn but at least we will besh1te with a new manager/coach or we might win at a canter then some of the past 2 weeks will be happily erased from memory.
