I must say it's amazing how accurate the hearsay and speculation can be from particular posters. Perhaps they have a bit more to go on than just hearsay?
Well there are certainly a couple on here that have been consistently correct on this one though, more than just hearsay, even in the timescale. I'd like to thank them for keeping us updated as much as they can. Hope the end of the wait is insight.
Mate, working bars in Newcastle during the dagleish/Robson eras its the taxi - drivers. They knew their **** back then.
End of the day, if Kempo has consulted Keefy and he says its happening, then it's happening... Why not give a bit of credit to those 3 who've consistently kept us updated the best they can, and who turn out to be correct? Oh and maybe also the 2 or 3 others who can verify stuff via PM but avoid posting, basically cos of the **** they get from people like you if it all falls through?
Liverpool reportedly going in for Bowen in new year, is there a sell on clause, if so hope it doesn’t hold up the sale
There have been a couple who have constantly hit the mark with the goings on of the sale and I for one appreciate their input, its provided a little.light at the end of a very long very dark tunnel, you know who you are so thank you. Now let's hope the t's are crossed and i's dotted pdq so we can get back to enjoying our club again.
A bit of humility wouldn't go amiss too. The Allams gave us the best and the worst of times. I never dreamt that in my lifetime that I would see the heights to which this club rose under their ownership. If only..........there would have been calls for a statue in the city centre but no-one gets it's 100% right all of the time but at least this family stepped up to the plate when no-one else was interested. They gambled with their own money and could quite easily have got their fingers burnt as many have before them. I'd have liked it all to have ended better. I would also have liked to have seen some sort of legacy from our rise to the Premier League. My generation who probably started this love affair during the Harold Needler and Cliff Britton days were constantly told this club does not want First Division football for all sorts of reasons, mainly financial and it looked that way for a long, long time. We now have a new generation of fans who expect Hull City to be pushing for the very top and you could say our legacy is those higher expectations because the monkey is off our backs ? We can also attract ( hopefully) a new owner who shares those high expectations ?
To a point I make you right, however their tears and tantrum approach has soured any good will and feelings. Things could and should have been so different, and had they not had their hissy fit with the council probably would have been lauded across the city. But their antics since then have left a very sour taste I'm afraid.
