Yes, Cooper is better than a lot, in fact most, since the days of David Bond. Thought with the likes of Fieldhouse and Shields that is akin to damning with faint praise. Though the young lad who moved on to a national daily and used to appear on SKY on Sunday morning discussing things in the papers and sadly passed away at a young age was very good. Feel awful that I have forgotten his name...

If one person owns the club, then one person only does indeed own the club.
If that one person has backers as you say, unless they've got equity or a shareholding in the club, then they have no direct involvement in the club. At face value Acuns backers, if they exist, must have an investment relationship with him directly, leaving him as the sole club owner

used to but I can certainly give some informations. Acun Ilicali is a self
made millionaire and media mogul. You can consider him as Turkish Simon
Cowell. He started his Professional life as sports reporter and made his
fortune with tv shows like Turkish survivior, Turkish Voice but I believe
that he is working international now and making shows for Greek and Mexican
television channels. His rise from sports reporter to media mogul was very
rapid. Some of the people like me thinks that his good relations with our
current government (which I never support or vote in my life) opened some
doors easily for him but I don't think that he have any illegal business. He
is a man who knows how use his personal relations. He was owner of Fortuna
Sittard from Netherlands and he just sold it or about to sell it so he have
some experience about owning and running a football club. Since the
beginning of his career as sports reporter, he is in sports and football so
he is very familiar with football World. He knows a lot of famous
international football people. I don't know the current owners of Hull city
but this guys coming from football World and had some experience in
Netherlands about runinning a football club. Finally he is a rich guy for
Turkish standarts but he is not rich like a saudi prince because of that you
shouldn't expect big money injections to the club and big transfers because
as I said his fortune is not near saudi prince fortune but he is rich. Thats
