Our fans didn't prevent them taking over. They never wanted to take over. This was because of what they had seen happen with previous chairmen of our and other clubs.

 

I know he posts on here and pretends to have inside info all the time when in reality it's just Ehab's version of events, which he gets via someone close to him who is also close to Ehab. The same reason he defends him all the time and spins this totally stupid Healey narrative as a ****ed up roundabout way of making the Allams sound better. And he has the cheek to constantly accuse everyone else of being influenced by bias.

 

I have no connection to Ehab and know of, as do lots of other, older fans, of Healey's thoughts on the subject.

It's certainly confusing when on a thread about new owners, following a flippant joke about Branson buying City, he wades in yet again with this stupid Healey thing, clearly implying that City fans with their 'abuse' of previous **** owners is somehow a cause of us having poor owners now, and that we just moan whoever the owner is. It's bollocks and it's totally irrelevant.

 

Precisely. Which is the point .Jen was making. There aren't exactly local people with the necessary amounts of money wishing to get involved with City.
No one was interested when they could have had them for a song. AP saw the opportunity and did well out of it. It was a simple and easy thing to according to some on here. Makes you wonder why others didn't see it.
If there were no takers then there won't be now the price is in the tens of millions not tens of pounds.
