It's suggesting that we shouldn't want Allam out no matter what he does because there could always be someone worse. That's stupid. The chance of our next owner being anything like as bad as Allam has to be extremely remote. Tan or Ashley would be an improvement. Only the Oystons can compete with Allam.
Because this **** is trying to change the name of the club. What could be worse than that? Even Tan didn't go to that extreme.
The story was that one of the three would withdraw if we were relegated, obviously nobody would base that decision on some mental name change idea. I think it's probably bollocks anyway, I'm sure there are plenty of wealthy people who fancy owning a Premier League football team, but this 'three interested parties' story has been doing the rounds for months.
If Allam's chucking money around again I'm sure the three interested parties will be the Conservatives, Labour and Lib Dems.....
The name won't be a factor at all. You can't seriously think anyone would come in for the name? The only thing a buyer will be interested in us the easy and substantial earning potential in the Premier League. Forget about a long term self sustaining future. This has the potential to be a disaster for us.
So someone like Lloyd and Buchannan would be better owners if they decided to keep the name city but locked us out or robbed us to the point of extinction, or Bartlett who left us with massive debt "living the dream" were we were at a point in our glorious history of going bust, not administration but bust, but at least we were still called City. People really need to get some perspective. Allam has got this wrong granted but the comments on here because of this are way beyond what is justified. You are the worst culprit of the lot, its like your obsessed with a hatred of a man who ensured, and still ensures (it does not matter how) that we had a team to follow. He has made mistakes however he has done more good things than any other owner I can think of with a possible exception of Pearson. get a grip lad
Oh BTW... Rumour has it, the front runners are a husband and wife team. They have a record of taking a small club to a massive win at Wembley and league topping performances too.
I'm a cynic, so like Fergy did with Moyes, do you think the Allams would want to sell to someone that could make the Club look more succesful than we've been recently, or to someone that's liable to be blamed for further mess? How many potential owners will look at investing mega bucks in a venture where some customers want to run it their way? *Stares at crstal ball to fortell responses.* There may be trouble ahead...
Hmmm wonder who first confirmed the 3 potential buyers???? http://www.not606.com/threads/whos-renewing-their-season-tickets.297219/page-6#post-7818542
I can't find it now, but I'm sure I mentioed something about three buyers when Pearson was selling up. Or was it four candles?
