You are way off the mark. The debt run up by Barlett was mainly owed to institutions Banks) and by not paying the bills like the tax man. he also mortgaged off future income. In a word we were ****ED. Because of this, the club was heading for closure, not admin so someone was waiting to pick it off at a cheap price, it was closure. I know this as fact as my source (non city) was very involved in the process. The only person who put money in to save the club at the time was Allam and he did this just in time. if you think anything different then you are choosing to ignore facts, which is the domain of idiots
Bartlett would have put it into administration otherwise it would have cost him personally over £5 million. What he told Adam Pearson or Assem Allam may have been totally different but administration it would have been.
First of all suggesting we wouldnt have a club without Allam isn't meant to be taken literally. We would have a shell of a club in administration, free falling down the tables and into mediocrity again. Talking about the fact it was administration not liquidation is missing the point that we could have had a tin pot team in the aftermath of administration, or a premier league team who got th an FA cup final. Whatever you think of the Allams behaviour, they rescued the club from (near) ruin, and made it work. Backed by their own money, not by debt leveraged against future income. The Allams haven't bought the club by debt, like RB, who effectively borrowed the purchase price. The Allams paid for the club and take interest on the loan. This has all been said 100000s of times before. Why posters on here are still deluded is beyond me. They may have alienated fans by their stubbornness, but it can't negate the good they have done and still do as football owners. Don't mix the two issues.
I thought administration wouldn't have been an option because the club never really owned anything of any real value?
After all that has gone on, there are still people on here supporting the Allams. ****ing incredible!
It's academic now. There was a chance administration may fail, and then it would be wound up. As it never happened anyone can now assert it was one not the other that was on the cards. Fact was, we had debt, and no way to cover it. Some of that was to institutions that would take action to recover it. So it was admin and points deducted... Which would have ruined us as a competitive force, or wipeout.
Supporting is present tense. Whatever you think of them now, what they did must be a good thing. And still is. What they want and are trying to do now is different. You can reconcile a different opinion on both easily.
Your writing is gave the impression you thought he was still alive. Mind you, writing he's does as well So either way you look an ill-informed clown. So no change there. As for him being an idiot, the difference between you and him was he was a popular, multimillionaire who made people laugh, whereas people just laugh at you.
This is not 606 hull city may I suggest you being the one that doesn't have a clue and spouts constant rubbish go find a hull tigers board to post on
