I looked at a graph the other day looking at the best and worst financial performers in the Premier League history. We were of cause right near the bottom, but Burnley surprisingly were near the top with well over £100 million profit.

They've been well ran for the last decade, not splurged stupid money on fees and wages and recruited sensibly. This new takeover could undo that in no time.

It takes ages to build something, but next to no time to wreck it, and it can take ages to rebuild it, if ever. Get this takeover wrong and Burnley could do a Sunderland. It's an interesting one to be sure.
