Don't want to have a moan at El Jefe after a great win, but think this is a bit wrong... "The fans, when you win so many games in a row, they are excited and thinking about Europe - for me it is one game at a time. It is a very competitive league and we are learning from that" Nope, I'm certainly not and I'm pretty sure everyone else is also thinking that, right now, we're about 1/4 of the way to safety, nothing more....
Got to agree with this. Shocking decisions, every time. One of those "I won't be swayed by home fans, even if they're right" kind of tw@t.
the yellow card that hayden got early on pisses me off ..( on the edge of there box ) then one of the stoke players does a so called cynical foul on us , on the break 30 yards nearer there goals ..and he gives nothing ...summed him up for me . poor ref ...very
That may be the case but it was a fairly daft yellow by Hayden. When you slide in from behind more often than not you'll pick up a card. Hayden needs to be a bit smarter.
The last tackle was fair and got the ball. If you watch the replay though he had his heels slightly clipped before then.
It's a goddam penalty all day long. Fcking ref was a shambles. And it's nice to say this on the end of a win, rather than bitching after defeat. But we got so little from this particular hitler it was borderline comedy.
Morning I'm a bit hung over but what a great win happy ****in days... This is a team from keeper to striker all playing for each other..... The ref was a disgrace yesterday and it's always good to say it after a win....... One game at a time for me but to be sitting fourth is Fantastic
I agree with this but it was very close. If he got none of the ball(which he did just clip it) then I still don't think the ref was giving it.
You can see Rafa has them well drilled. We could easily have won by more but also we could have lost it without a bit of luck in the end. We are playing with spirit which is good. It was important to get that win against West Ham. That shifted the momentum.
Right now it's feeling like having a manager that actually knows what he is doing is paying off. He's doing well with the players he's got.
