This is a going to be the true test for the team. Questions linger… Are we progressing from the mess of August and September? Can we beat a team with a positive goal difference? Can Onana become a goal keeper? Can we still remain above Newcastle after this game? Can cytrax continue his match day thread winning streak? These are important questions and the result will tell us much about where we are and what the rest of season holds. Shaw is in at the back and we have AWB starting. The midfield and front players are the same as last week.

Really weird team selection. Best LB playing CB (2 actual CBs on the bench) Back up RB playing LB Rashford playing RW where he's **** Martial at CF and Rasmus benched. Hope Ten Haag has some kimnd of plan here.
Yes weird team selection. The only plus is that there is not a high expectation for Utd to win this as they’ve not won against any team in the top half. So anything from the match will be a positive.
I think a BIG reason we are so nervous is because there's no stability with team selection. Comstant changing of the starting 11. Even when we get the ball no one has a clue who to pass to, to create any sort of attack. We look like a bunch of individuals.
There was moment there where Martial receives the ball in the box with his back to goal. Rashford is hehind him to the left. If he plays the two yard pass Rashford is in on goal. Instead he knocks the ball back to Fernandes 35 yards out This is why we lack creativity.
They keep fcking giving away possession ffs! Both of them! I thought Antony was excellent against Galatasaray. He should be playing.
In this respect, we've got a decent bench. They don't. Bring Amrabat on to replace McShit, Antony on for Rashford, Hojlund for Martial and and Varane or Lindelof on for Dalot, and the team is immediately way better.
Not keen on Lindelof next to Maguire tbh. But agree about the rest. Have to say, Shaw has always been decent at CB lol
Rashford has to go, for a player ranked as a premier striker he might as well be in goal, we can't have a player who comes and goes depending on their mood. For the money we could get a hungry, decent second striker, Garnacho has nailed the left wing.
