Good stuff, nice tonic. Doubt it'll mean much for Joelinton. He looks like he's pretending to be a striker, like he won a competition. But fingers crossed. R5 in our sights, excellent crowd, hope we get a bit of confidence for Saturday.
Someone get the chelsea thread up.. i need to quash any disproportionate levels of positivity gained from this result to reality at the earliest opportunity.
We are in a relegation fight ... think about next season .. we wont feel any joy in having a cup run ..
Still a lot to be concerned about, for sure. Tom Allan playing right wing back. Joelintons "performance" for 70-odd minutes. Very strange formations coming and going throughout the match. Chelsea game is my birthday weekend, so defeat beckons, but I don't care, I'm looking at Oxford.
Thats the issue mate we have absolutely no chance of winning it ,so what is exciting about a cup run? Its like waiting in a queue for some air.
Good to hear Bruce had his name sung last night. Don't think anyone can say he is doing a bad job thus far, certainly no better or worse than any of the recent incumbents in my eyes. Also pleased that he has stuck to his word in the cup games so far and played strong squads - probably the strongest of the fit players available to be fair. If he takes Ashley to task and gets us a CF and another Winger in think we need to start talking about a statue....
