yea, of course you have. Now, Leicester fans coming on here giving it big is laughable enough, but they are spending a bit etc. You. well
So on what basis do you think you have a better chance of promotion than us? Bearing in mind Maynard will have left you by the start of the season seeking a higher standard of football. Please do enlighten me...
EnderMB Dont get me wrong , I'd love him to stay but I cant see it. Now that one bid has come in I think more will follow and we will end up selling him to a lower-mid table prem team. As for saying you will be annoyed at Millen , don't be , if Maynard goes it will be a decision made by the board and if we get offered £5M they will take it.
All about opinions and all that, but unless you are Nicky Maynard himself then you don't know what will happen. As it stands, our first choice striker is absolute quality whilst your first choice striker is old, fat, and untested at this level. That do you for starters?
Correct me if im wrong, but the last time I looked Lee Barnard had played for Tottenham in the premier league?
What's the deal with all these people thinking he going to them just cause of rumours p.s Natch where's our background image lol
Nicky Hunt played in the premier league a dam sight more time than Barnard, Hunt is ****, playing in the premiership proves absolutely nothing.
I reckon it's pretty likely Nicky will be off soon enough........just hope we get a good price for him and that he takes a proper step up and plays Premier League. Sure some Championship sides could pay him more but I'd like to see some real ambition in the kid.......that would obviously rule out Southampton ; )
who's Lee Barnard? Nicky enjoys his life with the City, he received the best medical treatment throughout his injury and returned sooner than thought, I think he appreciates the length City went to to get the best for him. Unless a premier side is interested I think he'll stay and sign a extension rather than moving to another championship team.
From reading these comments Saints seem to have another team that dis likes them .......... we got all this last season and you seem to be the same
Personally I see Southampton as more of a threat to a our title challenge then a Nicky Maynardless Bristol City with their 'star player' being a 42 year old Goalkeeper!
