Rovers boss Tony Mowbray gives his thoughts

“They [Norwich]have a number of players that I have worked with in the past, they have some experienced and talented football players.”

“I’m looking forward to the test of taking our team there and seeing what we can achieve and do.

“Jacob [Murphy] is a very talented young guy, very fast and direct, can shoot off both feet and play on both wings."

“Graham Dorrans is a fantastic footballer, he was voted best player in the Championship when West Brom got promoted the year after I left."

“Mulumbu I signed from PSG for about £150,000 and he went on to play seven or eight years in the Premier League and is a very talented player, Cameron Jerome up top is big and strong and powerful."

“It’s a tough ask for us, but so were Derby and Cardiff and we took points from those games, so we’ll go to Norwich and see if we can make it a bit uncomfortable and take something from the game.”

Must admit I was looking forward to "A foot in both camps" to see your views on Chris Sutton. I used to love following him everywhere he went after leaving us, but just lately, as a pundit, he's become a bit of a peenarse! <yikes>

It will be interesting to what marching orders the board have given Irvine. The lineup will tell us a lot about their thinking.

Until yesterdays announcement I would have taken a heavy defeat today if it meant AN would be relieved of his duties.

I suspect that the team is the same team AN would have put out. Not sure Irvine could have changed much overnight even if he wanted to, which I doubt.

Another great match thread KIO! I think you may be right, canario. Looks like a line-up to break down a stubborn defense.

Good to see Pritchard starting but seeing as our season is practically over I would have liked to seen more youngsters like Maddison and Godfrey starting.

Yea, said that last night. Might as well have let AN play it, and sack him after the loss.
