I see recent MDT's are following the 'minimalist' precedent set by Donuts. I was half expecting to see the 'Deliadome', hot-dogs and Budweiser mentioned after years of absence. (Anyone remeber Sam's threads - can't recall his forum name?) Though I guess recent threads have been about as expansive as our performances since the resumption after lockdown.
I don't get any satisfaction watching us lose every game but this Covid-19 NHS BLM take a knee Marxist, LGBT no crowd political ****fest has been terrible . In all seriousness all 8 games have looked fake , almost scripted . Suspicious that there have been no V.A.R interventions either . We were getting screwed over all the time before lockdown, now you barely realise it's being used. We have played like a prize fighter with instructions to take a dive in the correct round. This is highly unlikely but I grew up on WWF and Hulk Hulkster and I'm fairly convinced wrestling is fixed .
For VAR to be used, our attackers would need to be near the opposing penalty area, or our defenders would need to be within a yard of the opposition. Surely that explains it?
Norwich are still missing injured trio Sam Byram, Grant Hanley and Moritz Leitner. Christoph Zimmermann is back in training and could be fit enough for a place on the bench. Burnley remain without Ashley Barnes, Ben Mee, Matt Lowton and Jack Cork, while Charlie Taylor will not feature after injuring his hamstring against Wolves. Jay Rodriguez came off with a tight calf in that game but should be fit. Norwich will end this season bottom, the first time they have finished last in a top-flight campaign since 1973-74. The Canaries have failed to score in a league-high 18 games this season, including 10 of the past 12. Norwich have lost their previous four top-flight home matches, conceding nine unanswered goals. They could become the first side to lose five consecutive Premier League home matches without scoring, and the first to do so in the top flight since Birmingham City in 1922.
