I hope all those people “talking about it” have complained to the BBC? It’s typical of the BBC they’re Manchester focused, just look at the ceefax football everyday it’s at least 50% about the Manchester clubs! Mark Chapman is far too fond of his own voice and being a celeb!!
I know there was increased questions about whether Farke was the right man, we certainly questioned him on here, but clamour? I think that's maybe an exaggeration, but I steer clear of both Canary call and pinkun btl. Bah!
Great to see you back ILD. I must say the ending of MotD2 was pretty pathetic!!!! Even Jack Reeve of TNC was clamouring for DF to be sacked!!! Edit - He has since eaten a rather large 'humble pie!!'
I am hoping that City will win a few fans in Asia this season. Already a few Thai friends of mine are taking notice after beating Man City on Saturday. They don't know much about the team but they all know who Teemu Pukki is now, and are talking about him
I have seen a few of these scouting reports pretty good. https://totalfootballanalysis.com/p...201920-scout-report-tactical-analysis-tactics
I must admit that I never really saw the "Let's be 'avin you" incident as more than a bit of fun. Having watched what Duncan posted I am even more of that opinion. I think that we are maybe being a bit too sensitive.
It was totally cringe worthy. Easier to just laugh at her with everyone else. Not the sort of behavior you expect from the board in any business. Passionate? Of course, but passion can be put across without being 3 sheets to the wind in a very public debacle. I don't give a monkey's about it any more (At the time and over some of our more fallow Delia years it was another stick to beat her with). As long as Delia is at Norwich and maybe even beyond, that clip will always be played and it is only her who should still shudder with embarassment at it. When it was shown yet again by Sky, I just said she was like that embarassing aunt who can't handle their booze. Bah!
Don't really agree, General. If a man had done that, he would have been praised for his passion. When a woman does it, she's a drunken old tart. Personally I'm proud of her for that. It shows she cares.
Yes, my apologies for my gender blindness. I don't really get the point about her being sozzled. Ok she had probably had a couple of Sauvignon Blancs, but that might apply to half the snake pit on match day. ( Other alcoholic beverages are available )
I must be getting old - I'm sure Delia came on at half time to rally the fans, as Citen had drawn level just before half time.
Yep you are right 2-0 up City levelled before half time and we lost on 90 mins. I much prefer the Farke hands thing than scolding us like naughty children. She deserves a few howlers though to be fair
If a man had done so with a microphone so publicly too, he would have been an embarrassing dickhead too. We all have our moments on the sauce, but rarely so publicly whilst representing so many. I may have a brother to remind me of my bigger drunken mistakes, but she has Skysports ready to play it over and over. Bah!
Personally I sympathise with Delia, the atmosphere (lack of) at Carrow Road has been enough to drive anyone to drink far more often than otherwise. As JMF pointed out earlier, the majority of those currently clambering aboard the yellow and green bandwagon were notable by their absence just a year ago. Better late than never I guess ,,,,,,,,,,
Any new fans are welcome and entirely blameless in this respect Hairy; it's the "old" fans, the thousands of season ticket regulars who, season after season, sat on their hands and seemingly preserved their vocal chords only for use on Canary Call, that I'm referring to.
Quite right Robbie - NCFC had several 'half-season' STs available, which started with the home game V Villa. I wonder how long the waiting list is for STs is now??? It's bad enough trying to get a casual ticket!!
