I'm not allowed to post on here. Yes Watford won both games and congratulations no complaints. The side that finishes with the most points is considered the best side that's how league tables work and at the moment that side is Norwich. This is my last post on this thread . Good luck for the remainder of the season . Bye
Do you think Frenchie, you could arrange for this muppet to be introduced to superhorns , and create a special thread for them only, which the rest of us could read. They seem destined for each other.
I doubt that they would have much to talk about. Having looked at the comments on their latest match thread it seems that a QPR fan has been stirring the pot. It seems that most clubs have at least one.
Yes. I used to think it absurd that supporters of each side were separated at the grounds. In fact I find it insulting the way most away supporters are treated at most grounds , not just the separation, but some of the attitudes in evidence. I think , if the supporters have to be separated, then so should the directors ! But there are times it is true when one is quite relieved not to be near the other side. (Equally, there are a fair number of our supporters (almost always under 25) who I really detest being near, at away games. They only seem interested in hurling insults and gestures at the nearest home fans they can see - and getting an equally unpleasant response. )
I remember standing on the old Vic Terrace with West Ham fans with us. One of their lot was the funniest men I have ever heard. A loud booming voice that he warmed up 15 minutes before kick off and with comments flowing non stop throughout the game whatever happened on the pitch was secondary entertainment. Shame that a few years later they were herded together in a cage at the Rookery end.
Your last sentence, kindly dont refer to them as 'supporters'.Surely they are people of a bored disposition who will even travel many miles to appear ''manly''...as long as they're in a crowd.
Mr F, in our 120 years each of following WFC its hard to recall such a miserly defence as this season, normally a registered charity. Also considering had an enforced change of goalkeeper half way through and they dont seem to be setting out to be defensive. If they've been hypnotising the opposition before games could get a points deduction
I suspect that there will be plenty to pour over when the season is over. It has been difficult for all the teams playing without fans being in the ground. What I have found surprising is the way that some teams such as Swansea, Brentford and indeed Reading have failed to take the chances they had.
It wasn't actually meant to be - but it does say something that you apparently took offence to a comment that never even mentioned you.
I had a look through the NCFC match thread... JT Bodbo sticking his oar in for Watford, fine and commendable effort but it was a bit like arguing about the Theory of Evolution with young earth creationists: they don't listen, they deliberately won't learn, they'll quote whichever (bible verses) stats that suit their narrative, and ultimately try to poison the well. Makes me laugh out loud when they say we kick teams off the park... some teams get away with that sort of thing, we don't - which is why certain stats make for poor reading on our part.
Just goes to show what a legend Canary Dave was. Head and shoulders above an awful lot of his fellow Canaries. They don't seem to respect sportsmanship, just try to make out they know best and are the best.
He did get 'bullied' on the Norwich page by a certain few.... and think for sone reason a certain few have ventured over here to indulge in some offbeat posturing........
Thanks. I did think I had only succeeded in annoying the fans of a decent club, when all I wanted to do was correct a on-sided rant. Oh well, onward and upward.
