as soon as I saw it I thought he's going to get booked again - however Bowen had the same thing done to him shortly after and the ref did nothing - no consistency - counting the international mid week, that 3 bookings for Meyler in 57 minutes for late tackles

Meyler's second booking should never have been, Norwich bloke stuck his leg out and Meyler had no choice but to run into it. Bowen I thought was playing for free kicks but the ref wasn't buying.
However, as Hat said earlier, Meyler should have been hooked at half time.

He wasn't booked for that foul, his second booking was for totting up daft stupid free kicks

How do you know that? It was that incident that resulted in the red card.
    Not being contentious, just curious.

Because just before half time you saw the ref talk to him when he fouled someone and he pointed out to 2/3 other fouls and said no more, the soft foul the resulted in the second yellow was just one soft one to many

Quick summing up. They should have been three up inside twenty minutes. Fact. Well done greegsy. They should have put a few in second half. We scored against the run of play. We didn't do enough to win. Harsh way to draw. The red was appalling and I rarely slate a ref. 23 for them was a cheating little **** all game. So was17. Off to look at the pedestrianisation soon

Awful refereeing cost us 2 points.

Meyler's second was never a yellow. Over a minute of additional time too long played. Incorrect decision over a corner seconds before the goal. Foul throw. The list goes on.

Looked fairly solid defending mind, until that last second switch-off. Except Aina. He's pants.

    Ho hum. Onwards and upwards.

Couldn't even bring myself to be mad or upset , was just surprised it took so long - feels like we are destined to never win away again

Yes but it wasn't a foul at all, soft or not, that's the point. I'd agree a second foul was probably on the cards but that wasn't it.

Alina got roasted first half Ernie. Looked like a pen to me when he brought someone down. Second half it suited him just chaotic off the cuff defending. Dio ****ed after five. Wtf Larsson was good but moving him out wide was crazy. Dicko took his goal well but doesn't hold it up. He looked offside anyway? You can't play just two midfielders they could and should have been out of sight. Daws had a good game but the header at the end shoulda nodded down to Bowen instead of in touch.

All the Norwich attacking players played like Niasse. Taking on our defenders and, without much skill, barrelling through with lucky bounces.

Then their crossing and shooting let them down.

Only a matter of time before we get our away win.

Need to start scoring more goals away from home though. The odd goal isnt going to win you an away game most of the time.

Apart from a **** house of a ref, had a good day.

Sat next to some funny blokes who were a laugh. They’d ****ed off before the end mind, which did make me laugh.

    Can’t really see properly atm.

Discovered Adnams make a nice gin. Copper sommat or other.
