At the presser, DF mentioned Hangley, Amadou and Tettey as CB/makeshift CB options but nothing was said about playing Lewis at LB and Byram at CB?

 

No indication that Sam has ever played at CB, but either he or Lewis might work in a 3-4-3 formation with WBs providing the width. DF experimented with that in the summer and it's the same formation Wolves use.

 

Grim news. We have had rotten luck this season with injuries.

 

LCL, Cromer. Supposed to be less serious than ACL injury because it's less likely to need surgery.

 

It's terrible news to lose Godfrey but on the bright side , nobody will want to buy an injured player In January hopefully.

 

Godfrey has said on Twitter that’s it’s not his ACL but he will miss the Christmas period

Hope Hamley gets up to speed tout suite

 

I"m not sure "up to speed" is quite the right choice of words when talking about GH! Personally I would have preferred to see a more mobile player in for Godfrey, even if it meant a part-time CB, e.g. Lewis or Amadou.
