    The record of our strikers since Chopra Bothroyd etc isnt great but the game has moved on with few teams playing 2 up top.

    Helgusson and Campbell did a decent job and Zahore could be a real threat on his day.

    However Cornelius Le Fondre Madine Bogle Glatzel Vassell Velikonja Lambert all a complete waste of money.

    Playing Paterson up top reminds me of the late 70’s when Jimmy Andrews was so desperate for a striker he occasion resorted to playing either Phil Dwyer and Paul Went, both of them defenders, up top!

    Both did ok actually and both would have buried that cross from Murphy v the pikeys.
