I used to really like him. Over the last 2 years I have found him a bit stale, if that makes sense.

I just find it weird that both cars always have the same problem.

He is now just a know-it-all. He'll predict something, the opposite happens, yet he would still make out he predicted that too.

He tries to make out he has an opinion, but they are all reactions. Anyone can be wise after the event to make themselves look good.

No, but you're the complete polar opposite. To much of either side of the spectrum is a bad thing mate.

    From the Skysports live feed:

An update from Mercedes on those engine settings:

"Nico had made a change during the race that caused the issue. So when told it was an issue with the mode, as permitted by the FIA, he switched back out of it.

"Lewis had the setting from the start of the race and it was not obvious that this setting was causing the problem.

"Fundamental problem is on our heads as it was a configuration not working properly, not the driver's fault. But the radio rules complicated things drastically: without this, it would have been solved immediately."

Right OK - clear the air - my favourite driver is Hamilton. But definitely not 100% on his interests outside the sport. No one's really mentioned how he openly admitted before the race that he'd only done 6 laps in the simulator on the new track. What an idiot and without a doubt contributed to his poor qualification. He'd have realised his limits and crashed in the simulator instead of the track. Rosberg proved again today that he's good out front with clear air and out of trouble - great job by perez once again - Ferrari next year for him??

Amazing that the drivers managed to keep it out of the walls. Quite a lot of overtaking even if much of it was under drs and its one zone detection! Managed to get a Channel 4 stream in Copenhagen! Found RTL on the ship tv and had Radio 5 Live al set but at 2pm just before start BBC says 'due to copyright you can listen in your country'!!!!!!! So mad dash to get laptop out and find a stream!!!!!
Camera work could have been better but nice to see a bit of different strategy on tyres. I guess temperature played a bigger part than anyone expected.

If Lewis and Nico were in sub optimal engine mode from start then that was once again another team balls up. It's one thing for the engineers to tell the drivers how to drive but another to not be able to help when the driver has a problem. OK so difficult line but this no info to drivers is damaging the racing...
Overall a good race and great to see Checo on podium again.

Interesting to have a number of "software mode" issues come up across the various teams, especially as the predicted carnage didn't arise. Sky commentary full of whinging about the radio rules, but it enlivened an otherwise fairly dull race and as such should stay.

I know there's a standard ecu, but I assume the teams can configure the software. Maybe they need to think about simplifying for some drivers, would provide another risk/reward element to the sport.

I wouldn't mind seeing Ricciardo at Ferrari personally. Either that or see them develop some of their own drivers rather than having to play chase the champion constantly.

With how technical the cars are it's like having an office worker using a pc with no technical support. Though you could argue that the software should be idiot proof!

I agree with ricciardo - just not sure Him and vettel would work? More I think about it the more perez at Ferrari seems like it might happen. Great marketing for Ferrari in South America and a competitive reliable driver.

I don't know what they were thinking putting Kimi back in that car. I really dont. I like Kimi, but he's well past his best.

Hamilton is infuriating but I find Rosberg painful to watch on races like today where he stands on the podium jumping in the air.

What are you celebrating you clown? You effectively just won a procession. You raced no one. Your car is a machine. Your rival was in 10th.

Vettel used to be the same.

I felt flat when I looked at the odds for today's race and Button and Alonso were listed as 500/1 shots. What other sport in the world could have a double and a single World Champ at those odds?

I really hope we see the grid even up sooner rather than later.

I'd love a little bit of the past... Like GET ROSS BRAWN BACK NOW!!! kind of past.

It's okay to admit you completely knackered the team by failing to promote him to team boss... Just do it for God's sake!
