I genuinely hope Exeter make it a full southcoast season. The only let down will be Saints again not being able to get into Europe. The rest of us have had at least something to cheer about....
Cheeky sod I've enjoyed my trips to the San Siro & Wembley though Though if not getting into Europe is classed as a disappointment for us now, then it shows how far we've come...
Yeah, beating Inter Milan at home and Liverpool and Arsenal away, plus a Wembley cup final will do me...
Can I borrow your corset then - you know, the one you've been wearing (along with the matching bra and pants) since your missus found them in the back of your car
Huzzah! I was kinda feeling mixed because part of me wanted to postpone our promotion until the Cambridge game, but I'm just happy to get to promoted at all... and it was nice Jamal getting a brace. I'm so glad we can finally be out of this league especially after being certain we'd stay down earlier this season and next season there's lots of interesting teams we could be playing... Including some local to me (unless I move... which could happen). Talking of the Cambridge game, there are only 6 tickets left for sale, in the Milton End nearest the away fans. Apparently Cambridge weren't given a huge allocation.
True, but it means approximately 2/3rds of the Milton End will be Pompey fans, especially given the fact that there's so few seats left in the home section which will hopefully mean even that stand will have a good atmosphere. Hopefully it'll be like Pompey v Sunderland in 2009. That was a great experience, even though I was in the Milton End. Me and my friend got the train from uni and missed the kick off as for some reason we went via Chichester. But the atmosphere was immense. Hopefully it'll be like that.
Well done Pompey. Looks like south coast footy is doing well in the promotion stakes this year, You, Brighton , Plymouth etc. Maybe it'll wake the media up to there's more than just London/Manchester/Mersyside in English football. Good luck next season and with the possible takeover malarkey.
