I’ve finally got round to cancelling my Sky subscription (as I don’t need it anymore) and I was wondering if anyone knows about Now TV? I’d like to watch our live games (I know, I’m a fool) I know I can buy a sports day pass but can I buy it as a stand alone or do I need to subscribe to one of their packages as well?

You can buy a day pass any time.

I couldn’t get proper Sky when we moved into a new build and 2.5 years later I’ve not got round to sorting it and have had Now TV ever since. It’s fine for the sport and I don’t care about much else. You just download the apps for BBC and the rest to watch them. Just bear in mind you don’t get to see red button games and remember to unsubscribe from the all the free **** you get to start with unlike me paying £8 a month for Disney Kids or some bollocks.

Had now TV for two years now, got at the start of the football season as a special offer, get all Sky Sports channels for 10 months or so that the season lasts.
Son in law organises it, can have it on two devices, so both have it on our phones, then cast it to TV, £180 last year, £200 this year, so once we've split the cost, I pay £10 a month. Works out great as far as I'm concerned.
