http://www.cbc.ca/news/yourcommunity/2012/02/would-you-drink-pizza-flavoured-beer.html Would you drink it? Even on a dare? Not me.
I'd try it to see what it was like. You wouldn't think banana and bacon cookies would be nice, but they are. (One of Heston Blumenthal's recipes)
I,d probably try a mouthfull to see what its like, couldnt see me having a night out on it though. We,ve come a long was since Hull Brewery Mild
I'd try it, I guess. I tried bacon-flavored Bourbon last week and it wasn't too bad. Tasted like Bourbon with a faint smoky aftertaste. There's a bar near here that serves a chocolate-coated bacon sundae, and that's just awesome.
Bacon is different. Bacon makes everything better. I would drink baconated beer, but I wouldn't touch this stuff.
Bacon is one flavour. This will have, according to the article, "tomato and spices like oregano, basil and garlic." I've tried beer either brewed or infused with chocolate, berries, etc. Yecch. For all I know, I could have the same reaction to bacon-infused beer since I've never had it ... but at least I'd try it because I love bacon. I like pizza also, but I don't think pizza-flavoured beer would end well for me.
Pizza flavoured beer? Baconated beer? all I can think of is why on earth would someone make that! I like beer flavoured beer meself
However, there are different "flavours" of beer: bitter, ale, stout, porter, lager, pilsener, wheat beer. They taste differently and have qualities unique to themselves. The more I think about it, though, the less attractive even bacon beer is to me despite the bacon lover that I am. Me, I like lagers, pilseners and the wheat beers and not the hoppier, more bitter and darker beers.
Beer should taste of beer. My missus bought some orange flavoured Becks at Christmas(it was on special offer apparently) and it's vile, we can't give it away, even my teenage sons mates won't drink it.
We had some of this in @ christmas, absolutely hurrendous! Holsten make flavoured beers I think and from what I remember they were quite nice
