That Richard was star baker most weeks and lost it for two of the three rounds in the final !!
Glad it was decided over the final day and not some fluffy count back over the series .

Some of the early rounds were great with some proper whacky experimental baking

That's up there as well, just for 'whacky experimental baking'.

    Christ on a bike.

Exactly what I thought. The Richard to win camp won't be happy. They already had him crowned winner last week.

I'll admit that this isn't normally my thing, and unlike you and Chazz I won't claim I was watching it cos my missus was, but I've genuinely enjoyed this. I like baking so why not? It's also been good light entertainment!

Lord Reith must be spitting on his celestial chips.

    Putting stuff in an oven.

    In a ****ing tent.

Then having a patronising witch diss your puds and brioches.

    As prime time TV.

A few weeks ago Nancy did something "very dangerous" (according to the Silver Bear - Hollywood) - she proved some stuff in the microwave (to reduce the prep time). And he were right peed off with several things tonight.

Hes a stickler for the rules. When they did that 20 layer grilled cake he counted all the layers. Nancy only did 18. Hollywood wasn't impressed. Her jam glaze was a bit runny as well that episode. Dark times. All behind her now.

I'm pleased she's won cos she is a City fan too, but I agree that there is far too much reality TV progs and cookery programmes. Cheap TV to make so they can spend money on....oh whoops I'd better stop before I get 'political'.
