2 and half Finns into the first corner, and the halfbreed takes it all. Vettel is sunk by two torpedo attacks in the black sea. Hamilton has to find his feet soon. Rosberg has entered the pantheon of great drivers ( Schumacher, Ascari and Vettel with 7 or more) successive victories. Only Vettel and Schumacher have more wins in a season with 13 for Michael and Seb in 2004 and 2013. Surely... Surely this is Rosbergs year... And so we enter Europe, and another chapter opens. please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image This track can and will throw you off, as Kovalainen was reminded back in 2008. Yeah I am sure he will in a car like that. I was just giggling at El Bando posting the same reason for the last two races.
Gone for Bottas the wildcard. Williams have a strong reputation when it comes to Europe, specifically Spain. And I just think it all won't go Mercedes way. Bottas's pace in Russia was impressive.
What happens with Verstappen and Kvyat's tyre choices? Do they get the tyres they picked, or the tyres their team picked for that car? I'd love Verstappen to crash into someone on lap 1, then Kvyat to finish strongly and when interview make some comment about needing to review positions within the teams. Marko would explode.
The tyres are picked for the car not for the driver. i.e. The tyres that were selected for Kvyats Red Bull will be the ones that Verstappen has to use when he drives the Red Bull.
I was describing Rosberg being half German and Finnish, although I think he is... Its probably an incorrect term, bite me.
No its just a ****ing nasty one in Britain when you are talking about another human being, and would probably get you all your teeth knocked out!
Who knows.. Can Vettel make it past the 1st corner without issue? Can Hamilton have a trouble free weekend? Can Rosbergs luck hold out? Can Kvyat bounce back from his demotion, will be interesting to see how good Kvyat is against Sainz.. Sainz, has been there or thereabouts up against Max, if Kvyat comes in and whips the floor with him, does that bode well for Kvyat? What happens if Max is no where near Danny Ric in quali and race? Gone for a Hamilton win, can only see a Merc winning here, they've yet to be pushed and cruised to most of their wins! Also, given the current Ferrari engines reliability, not sure they can push the Mercs throughout the race! Merc themselves aren't bullet proof either so an issue for one of them could present a chance to either the Ferrari's or Red Bulls! Just hope for the sake of the race (given its lack of over taking opportunities) that no one gets punted off at the first corner..
Hamilton for the win here for me, if he gets a trouble free weekend he'll walk it. However I'm enjoying watching his meltdown, so I hope he has another shocker and blames the team again
