Hey look mate, if there was a rule against being "strange" on this forum I seriously don't think I would be first out of the door.
Let me sum up this election outside of Brexit: The Tories lie, they only care about the rich so they lower taxes for them and the unwashed masses have to pay more, they want to privatise the NHS and flog it to the yanks and they've got a clown as a leader. Labour are the party of the people, they want us all to work less, they want to nationalise everything because, as we all know, nationalised industries are much more efficient and profitable than private ones, they're going to spend billions and billions on everything they can think of and those nasty rich bastards are going to start paying for them and your favourite grandad is their leader. Just about right don't you think?
I would only add that the tories are lead by ones spoilt cousin, who really is a twat but thinks he is funny and popular.
You missed the inconsequential nonentities who don’t stand for anything apart from stopping Brexit. Seems unfair to leave them out.
I’m not a politician, none of us are but can we not all see two things that would have given Labour a landslide victory if they’d acted earlier? Promise to deliver the result of the referendum and replace Corbyn with someone electable like David Milliband. Labour claim to be in touch with the public, well they’re not. They know Corbyn is hated but they allow him to remain, Conservative know the public trust Boris to get Brexit done but everything else about him is questionable, they put him as leader but know to keep him away from the likes of Andrew Neil
I agree with you that a different Labour Party and leader might well be about to win this election. The problem they have is Brexit cuts across their party much more than across the Conservatives. In fact a big majority of Labour Party members are Remainers.
Had they elected the right leader in the first place there would likely be no brexit and we wouldn’t be discussing a mid term election. brexiteers should love corbyn
I do and once Brexit is delivered and both parties have new leaders we can have a neutral (for me) playing field and then NHS and Crime will probably be top of my agenda. Brexit needs sorting now, I can wait one more election for everything else and let’s face it, the NHS has been deteriorating for years no matter who is in charge
Received a couple of letters today. One from the right honourable boris johnson (one for the advertising standards authority there) I'm not sure i opted in to receive it, but hey. Clearly from the number of pictures of young families on it and the messages about childcare they know i'm a parent and are hedging their bets on my ethnicity by covering the full set. Other than that, it's a verbose and poorly constructed marketing piece, but is timed well for the floating voter in a labour marginal. The second letter is from the Tory candidate... with my name spelt differenty so sent from a different list - should have been targeted to arrive on a different day and even lower rent piece. But hey they got their message out there in an almost timely fashion... got an equally insipid piece from labour candidate last week. So just need a begging letter tomorrow from jezza to complete the toilet paper
The trouble with Labour is all the left loons have hijacked a people's party, Communists,SWP and every looney left person has joined the Labour Party and are forcing their agenda from within the party.
I’m going to be channeling my inner bellend after Thursday and become a selfish Tory twat. We’ll get on really well.
