...47 signings have been sold on for a profit. That would be hard to accomplish, in this wildly inflated market, even if it was your intent. Horrible management. Clueless.
Any in mind? Defoe and Pickford are the prize assets and one apparently has a free and the other came through the youth ranks. For what it's worth i don't expect Pickford to go and unless he's going to somewhere he is going to definitely first choice he'd be mad to leave.
Kone will be one since we only paid £5m for him. Probably get £10m ish for him. Not sure who the other could be.
Kone a good shout, didn't realise it was as little as that Giacc! Lens was £8m+ wasn't it? They should get their money back, though I've not kept tabs on how he has done this season on loan. I actually think there's a few decent players who will stay and surprise a few by improving in the championship. Not convinced the likes of Rodwell, Djilibodji, Kirchoff, etc. will have many suitors but a year against the kind of opposition we've been against could create a good core. The team we came up with in 2010 was pretty much the team we went down with in 2009 but with half the first team sold off, they were much much better as a group of players though. Borini needs to **** off though. I used to sort of like him but he's not half the player he seems to think he is.
I'd guess we'll about break even with Lens unless a daft bid from China or something comes in. Borini - that's always been his problem, thinks he's 10 times as good as he actually is.
Not that it'd be a big one but I reckon we'd make a profit on Kirchhoff, mainly because he was so cheap. There'll be someone out there willing to gamble a couple of million on him.
Possibly, but isn't he out of contract. Swear he only signed for 18 months, unless he signed a new contact bit really can't remember.
Not sure mate I can't remember either. We should get rid anyway, if I was Moyes (or the recruitment team if he is sacked) I wouldn't sign anyone who's had as much as a cold in the last ten years.
Not seen this. Anyone should be sent off for that! Also, has he got both players? This is like Darth Vader using the force, but using massive hands instead.
Its just nice to see Vic showing a bit of passion, pity some of his team mates couldn't be arsed to do the same.
