David Warner doing what he does best - answering his critics with his bat. He smashed 70 runs from 36 balls to help Australia beat the West Indies in their T20 match overnight.

You learn something new every day - Scottish player off for HIA after his gumshield measured the force of a hit by a French player.

France ahead now; Still time for that to change as there is just one point in it.

Four point lead for France now - but still time for Scotland.

FT 16-20. Scotland denied a try by TMO at the death - ruled held up over the line.
Finn Russell will rue the three first half penalty kicks for which he chose to go for a try rather than take the points on offer. Enjoyable match though...

Australia just swatted India aside to win the U19 ODI World Championship. The Indians never looked like contending with either bat or ball.

India have England on the ropes in the latest Test match - chasing 557 to win, they're 41/4 at close of play. :(

Not over for the day yet...

    51/7.

This must be heading towards one of our heaviest ever defeats by runs surely?

All out for 122 - heaviest defeat in terms of runs since world war two apparently.

Van Der Merwe declared man of the match in the Scotland v England Six Nations match - 10 seconds later he's yellow carded and off. <laugh>

    30-21 win for Scotland.

At this point in time. It's all cyclical and will doubtless change at some point. Scotland currently have three outstanding players - Russell, van der Merwe and Darge - who will each undoubtedly fade at some point in the future. The problem then will be finding replacements who are equally as good, from a far smaller pool of players.

A bit of a batting collapse by England against India - after taking a first innings lead of 46, they were all out for 145 in their second innings, leaving India to chase 192 to win. 40/0 at close of play.
