2 points most probably; draws with Everton and Bomo, possibly a point fron the Foxes... cannot see anything from the other games.
If we keep the same manager I reckon - Everton (H) - DRAW Man City (A) - EPIC FAIL Bournemouth (A) - EMBARASSING DEFEAT Arsenal (H) - DEFEAT Leicester (H) - VICTORY Chelsea (A) - DEFEAT So let me total that lot up. I make it 4 points. SCENARIO 2 Everton (H) - LOSE AND MANAGER SACKED Man City (A) - LOSE Bournemouth (A) - WIN Arsenal (H) - LOSE Leicester (H) - VICTORY Chelsea (A) - DEFEAT 6 POINTS
Yeah, I pretty much agree with your point totals there. But, although phase two only puts us two points better of, I think the performances would be very much different. I can handle losing, its how we are losing that's hurting. That cannot continue. Anyway, lets let Sunday unfold before polishing the pitchforks. uts
There tough fixtures either way. I imagine Saints being maybe 1 point above the relegation places come the New Year. I cannot see anyway Pellegrino can survive these fixtures though.
and truth be told we were a fortunate against West Brom and West Ham to get 6 points from those two (50/50 penalty decision against 10 men and a one-off solo goal against West Brom).
And Palace. They stood off us in the first 45 (thanks Roy) which made us look great, but when they addressed that problem they looked far better. We are lucky to be on 13 points.
On the other hand, we were unlucky against Burnley. They had one chance and took it...there are always games like that. I think we are due a run of luck.
Can't play games and expect a run of luck. Dismiss luck. It is a thing of horoscopes and fables. Play better.
Knew mentioning luck would bring that response Don't know an alternative word...perhaps things averaging out. Get the ball into the area and it has to sometimes fall in our favour whether off their player or ours.
By pressing high up the pitch, switching play and lots of balls into the danger zone. That's how we used to play.
Everton D Man City L.....gulp Bournemouth L Arsenal L Leicester D Chelsea L.....gulp 2 points if we’re lucky
Everton 0-0 or 1-1 draw. Everton will be more resilient after their European debacle in the week. Man City 4-0 loss Bournemouth 1-0 away win. Have a feeling that we will curtail their recent run of decent form. Arsenal - 2-0 loss. Not good enough to take any points off Arsenal at home this season unfortunately. I always get a lot of satisfaction beating Wenger's team. Leicester - 2-1 win for Saints Chelsea - 3-0 loss 7 points
