These markings are not recognized as signs in the rail industry (or civil engeering iirc) If I didn't know this, I wouldn't have stated it. **** going to university for 3+ years to study civil engineering, all you need to do is look up a bunch of words in the dictionary and you're good to go! Then theres another element that throws out the point, do network rail have responsibility for the platform signage?
Is the Rail Industry or Civil Engineering chatroom? No. Besides I have already told you that they have "Mind the Gap" "SIGNS" (Physical signs) on the Inverness To Thurso rail line at several stations where the platform is very low and they have wooden steps. Let it go chapper, you were wrong and everyone bar you knows it
Should have just glanced a dictionary. Prove it. And if you did, I'd then state that network rail aren't responsible for platform signage.
I've no more to say on the matter, I knew what I was doing when I stated "Network Rail DO NOT have mind the step signs on platforms" Signs are on posts, lamp posts, walls etc AND network rail aren't responsible for platform signage and furniture etc. See you all in another thread no doubt!
You have admitted you were wrong when you said "Prove it. And if you did, I'd then state that network rail aren't responsible for platform signage." In other words you will never admit you were wrong even when you are, this being a perfect example. Anyway you never said anything about who was "responsible" for signage, you simply said there were no Mind the Step signs at network rail stations.
