So tonight see,s the MKG on a roll and a Papa John's game?????? Not sure if this is a league cup or like an FA Cup game. I am sure I will be informed. Maybe tonight a lot of first-team players will be rested. Thoughts on what the result would be? And if it is worth us staying in or maybe avoiding and concentrating on the league? It could be a chance to give 2nd team players a chance to prove.
It's the paint pot all but in name. It's the trophy someone authorised the B Teams to enter, after they were refused entry to the EFL leagues. I'll take an interest as long has it does not involve a B Team. In regards to resting players - yes we should, give the youngsters or those needing some match time a run out. I think gioblues was saying recently it draws quite a bit of prize money, so maybe that has to be welcomed. I'll keep an eye out for the result, but I won't be getting upset if we get dumped out.
I admire the way our team show such empathy toward the opposition, we make sure not to totally outclass them, and leave them embarrassed. How thoughtful..
Evans talked about '' changes '' to the side -- and technically he wasn't wrong - but - every one who played has played ( and failed ) before ! Without Dempsey and Graham ( injured ), in the team it is so clear to see that the squad lacks any real talent and creativity....... We could have been further embarrassed if Mullin hadn't been so wasteful with great chances for Cambridge to score more....... ....... I'm glad that we're nearly half way to league 'safety' --- but, I've seen enough this season, to know that we won't be challenging at the top end.... .... what was most disappointing was the lack of effort --- or maybe it's because they 'can't,' rather than won't ?
Aahh - but - did you really go for a wee -- or was it a case of the players 'taking the P ?' ..... if you read my post carefully, you'll see that I saw lack of effort !! - and, on a more serious note, any lack of effort is inexcusable. These are professionals - who expect to be paid. Fans expect 'professional' effort.
