Well I hope Hayes can score the goals to help make up for those the Doc concedes... I hope Wycombe stay up; Hayes could prove class and again I regard this as another example of Powell's naivety. http://www.cafc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10267~2622377,00.html
Bit of a shocker to lose Hayes so abruptly. He won't be back now unless Kermorgant gets injured within the next 28 days. Not often a club unloads a player on a free (which it will be) when he was actually playing well in a successful team. Best of luck to them both but I fear Doc is no longer up to Div One standard, even as cover. Why did the OP copy this to the Premier League forum as well? I would have thought to the Wycombe board?
Whats the 'OP'? Probably just for a laugh so as everyone can reminisce about The Doc in a tight fitting Kappa Spurs kit on a Friday Afternoon

As much as I love the thought of Optimus Prime believing this to be newsworthy amongst Premier League fans... I assume it is Original Poster in which case it is I and in which case I don't know how it ended up on the Premier League board. Maybe everything I have ever written is on there somewhere?
my pal told me that hayesy twattered "f off charlton" 2 weeks ago. apparently JJ replied and told him to calm down. franco is your man "on ere" for all info re hayesy i do recall
Hayes was a good player, and he had tweeted something bad towards the club. Jackson did indeed tell him to calm down! However there is no way he's worse than Clarke!
think it is true WWCOB. think Nath is bang on with his account. dont know,...you make a good point. perhaps SCP was trying to show the rest of the squad something,....but i cant work it out.
Nath, sorry if that came across as if I didn't believe you, I typed out my post before I'd read your one before it! I'd be interested to hear more about it, if he did tweet that then I'm glad he's been shown the door.
I'm not happy about Hayes being sent on loan and from what I've seen and heard about him his attitude is spot on, he did make the mistake of tweeting his annoyance at not making the bench after we signed Clarke. Though I can see why he would be annoyed it was not the best move to tweet about it. We all make mistakes. Anyway, good luck to them both.
I genuinely don't understand why Powell thinks this is a good move. If Kermorgant gets injured/suspended, the only alternative we have to play alongside BWP is Hayes, and we all know how well they combined earlier in the season. We need a link between midfield and attack, and only those 2 players offer it. Good luck at Wycombe Paul, and we hope to see you back here very soon.
I don't see the logic here. There has been a good case for Hayes to play recently, since we can't score from open play and Hayes offers something different. With Haynes injured we'll be seeing more of Clarke, and I only hope he proves us all wrong, and bangs a few in.
The Doc I can understand but Hayes?? There is something going on here more than we are being told. You don't loan a player who is a regular on the bench to another club for the rest of the season unless something else has already been arranged? Are we about to get somebody in on loan? The lad from Leicester? I don't have a lot of hope for the Doc at Wycombe but I hope Hayesy does really well
you lot seem to really rate hayes: delighted by that signing in which case. is he the type of striker who scores a lot (what we really need!!!) or more of a lay-off man? judging the general opinion, im guessing doherty isent as good...
The SLP say we"be lined up another striker on loan. However the timing and how quick this will happen will be determined by the result on Saturday. I liked Hayes, he did say earlier on Twitter that he"ll be back and that it was just a loan move.
