Lets be honest we are always looking to imprive in the summer. I belive will be cheap, quality and wanting to leave players from the three teams that go down this season... we got larsson, gardner and vaughn last season from relelgated teams and i belive we can do the same again

As a wigan fan i think now there is 5 teams who can go down

1 teams (QPR) spend alot of money and brought in quality
3 team (Blackburn,Bolton and Wolves) are big teams in there own right with big players
1 team (wigan) have a few big names who will deffo want to leave

THE BOLD IS PLAYERS WE SHOULD LOOK TO SIGN IMO

As you can see this is very long but there are some very good players avlible in a varitay of positions if we can pick some of these players up cheap and then can bring in outher players too (not just from the three relegated teams) we can have a better squad next year

Hoilett for definate, would fit into our style of play. Him & McLean joining big centre forward in counter attack. Still like cisse aswell.

Hoillet, Olsson, Fletcher, Roger Johnson and if flash leaves, Hennessey, smashing keeper.

Taarabt could be a master stroke, if MON could get him performing.

Much depends on us keeping hold of Sess in the summer.

I dont think we need another GK, unless Gordon leaves (I dont think he will).

I would think about grabbing Onouha from QPR as our RB spot is a bit weak imo. Bardo is excellent, but we only have O'Shea and Gardner as back up, both of whom can fill in if needed (Gardner more than O'Shea) but I would count on them 100%.

Hoilett deffo. Fletcher possibly, Doyle possibly. Think we should be looking for better than the rest of them.

I'd love to have Moses in our team. I rate Diame highly aswell but I think we're well covered CM. Hoillett would be an obvious choice aswell!

    Missed Moses, but absolutely.

Imagine a side with him, Sess and MClean in it?

    That would be entertaining.

Apart from Hoillet (surely destined to become this summers Zog signing rumour name) I wouldn't have any of the names in bold here. Craddock? Really? He is 36 years old and retiring this summer.

I know I dont think we'd need to break the bank to get him either. Like Sess he's very versatile!

I don't think the sides going down this year are as good as the teams from last year. Blackpool were a very good, attacking team, Birmingham won the league cup, and West Ham were admittedly woeful but did have some some very good players like Ba.

Wouldn't say no to Moses, Fletcher, Hoilett or O'Hara, but there's no-one else who really stands out to me as someone who'd significantly improve us.

There was a lot of fuss about Jarvis not too long ago, all gone a bit quiet this season, reckon MON would suit him.

You don't consider Stuart Holden? I thought he looked great for Bolton last season, was their player of the season i think. He's also an ex-Sunderland youth player and American international, got a got balance and ability about him in my opinion. Think he may have had injuries this season but not sure.

Moses, Jarvis and Davies (midfielder) are good players with bright futures. Hoillet is leaving on a free in the summer anyway by the looks of it but will be linked all over.

I think taraabt, rodellega and petrov are vastly over-rated. The rest just aren't an improvement.

Dann is an interesting one as he looked very good at times but i wouldn't be keen on a player relegated for successive seasons unless it was as cover or they were a clear outstanding performer - which he isn't from what i've seen.

Good points mate. Holdens a good player, but I wouldnt have him based on the fact I dont think he's any better than what we've got in midfield already.
Out of all the teams the player thats imprressed me most is Moses. I think he would make a big difference to our team!

Hoilett, Jarvis, Diame, Moses, Taiwo would be the only 1s for me, maybe yakubu but can't see him repeating the season he's having now

Only players that I wouldn't mind seeing play for us are...

Blackburn - Martin Olssen, Junior Hoilett

Bolton - I know he is only onloan at Bolton but if they went down we should go for Miyachi on loan the lad is fantastic and is well thought of at Arsenal, probably will go out onloan again next season and if Bolton are not in the prem we would have a gd chance of getting him as for the names on that list wouldn't touch any of them.

    QPR - Taiwo

    Wolves - none

    Wigan - Moses

I would avoid Yakubu. He's had a great season but he's just another Viduka (ask Newcastle and Boro fans for details). When he needs a new contract he can be arsed to be good, otherwise he's just lazy and profligate.

Taiwo hasn't looked defensively sound to me (hence the goals they've leaked throughout their back line) and i think peoples heads are turned by his attacking play. I prefer the Dennis Irwin type wing-back to the Roberto Carlos type (ie. I judge them on how well they defend primarily)

    Does nobody rate Hennessey?

I think he's an absolutely cracking keeper, I'm baffled nobody sees it!

Hennessey is a very good keeper but i don't think he's better than Mignolet or Krul so it odesn't matter. Al-Habsi can be great at times but a liability at others. Vorm is the goalkeeping find of the season imo but Swansea are, thankfully, nowhere near relegation. Isn't it interesting that year after year people make comments about the Premiership being the 'best league in europe' and yet the teams that come from the championship generally survive whilst the teams that go down to the championship struggle to come back up?
