His immediate resignation would get things moving in the right direction, closely followed by the owner!
Amazing what a bounce and change in form and confidence a new manager can bring, Lincoln 3 down to Sunderland & Lee Johnson! Time we had one too!
Team is way too lightweight. We don’t have the players the way that PL wants us to. He needs to show willingness to change but he is as stubborn as Mick.
And then he just hides behind the injury list excuse instead of figuring out a way to use what he does have available in the best way.
PL is getting to be as obstinate as Mick, why just swap one lone striker for another when that “system” clearly isn’t working?
That comment is just mean to headless chickens. They run around very fast and are tricky to catch, nothing like our team
I bet Paul is glad the fans are back He'll be prickly in his post match interview now after the boos at the end.
If you want a detailed match report you can just read one of mine from a past match, because this game went pretty much the same way as many others. Slow and poor passing, high long balls to short players and a lack of confidence and cohesion. We'll continue to struggle as we'll get no consistency because a different eleven are put out each match. Lambert needs to spend less time coaching this worthless style of football and work on some basics. First touch, control and pass, pass and move, keeper kicks that don't go out. Our players seem to go static as soon as they have moved the ball on. A player gets tackled, they stop playing for a few seconds. There is no urgency or desire to keep a high tempo to our play, it's all 'touch the ball and then watch for a bit' Lambert out
I didn’t watch. It’s always the same old story. The issue for me is that I can’t see any project to assemble a great first team and improve so what happens in any individual match is not of much importance apart from the points on the board.
Evans please get out of our Club, you have spent more than 10 years here and your incompetence gets worse by the season, your criminal underfunding has brought us to this lowly position and your continued presence means that we probably haven't got even near the lowest point yet. You sacked a good manager in Magilton for a " name " such as the useless Keane followed by the pathetic Jewell and so it went on with Hurst, after all these years of abject failure and mismanagement you have learned nothing so we stagger on, for Gods sake man just go !!
There is just such little joy in following Town. Mills said at the end at least the youngsters are getting regular game time.I just worry what negative effect continually playing in a losing, poor system is having on them. The CB pairing look to be totally out of their depth and I don’t think it’s fair on Woolfie’s development not to have a more experienced player alongside him(less bothered about McGuiness as he’ll obviously be back off to Arsenal at the end of the Season,if he’s not injured before)
