I don't need to behave myself, he could be 55 and retired 10yrs ago, fact is he is registered as a player/coach so therefore they had 3 keepers registered that could play.
Tyler agreed a one-year permanent playing contract alongside his role as goalkeeping coach following the appointment of Grant McCann as Peterborough United manager on 16 May 2016. His permanent contract officially began on 8 June 2016, following the expiration of his loan spell. Tyler made five appearances for Peterborough in 2016–17, and signed a two-year contract to become the club's full-time goalkeeping coach at the end of the season, after he was not offered a new playing contract.
Not sure what the point is your making by posting stuff that covers seasons been and gone., but whatever it is, it doesn't change the fact that this season he was a player coach and registered to play as part of their squad so no matter his age or in fact the reasons why he was registered.... They still had 3 registered keepers when the got this lad on loan.
I would have thought my point was fairly obviously, he retired as a player in 2017 and took up a permanent coaching role, he's not a registered player.
Don't quite get what your missing tbh, but I'll say it once more..... This season he is registered as a player/coach. He might not have been last season and he might not be next season. But this season he is. So therefore they had 3 registered keepers still available. Post as many Wikipedia snippets as you want, but it doesn't change the facts.
He didn't play a game as far as I remember, but came as cover when Duke was out for a period due to his treatment.
I was actually on holiday with Tom a few years ago, he arrived later than the rest of us and tried to catch up with the boozing round the pool, but overdid it and ended up sleeping through the whole first afternoon and night. He runs a restaurant in Wales now.
I coached him a fair few times, was a nice lad. I'm sure his dad dipped his toe into coaching at one point
So why doesn't he appear in the list of registered players on the EFL website? If it's because he's under 21, then he's done well to become a coach so quickly.
