    January always poses some problems given the 2 FA Cup rounds and uncertainty of fixtures.

    The 3rd round is on January 9th (Stevenage away) and the 4th round is two weeks later on January 23rd when we have a scheduled Championship game at home to Brentford. The most likely scenario is that the Brentford game will be re-scheduled to midweek, probably 26th/27th Jan, as this has been the case in recent years. This assumes of course that either ourselves, or Brentford, or both will progress to round 4. (Brentford are home to Middlesbrough in the third round.) If we progress to round 4 then that fixture will not be included in the predictions.

    Therefore, we are predicting on:

    Saturday 2nd January
    CHAMPIONSHIP
    • Swansea City 15:00 Watford 2-1
    Saturday 9th January
    THE FA CUP
    THIRD ROUND
    • Stevenage 15:00 Swansea City 0-2
    Saturday 16th January
    CHAMPIONSHIP
    • Barnsley 19:45 Swansea City 0-2
    Tuesday 19th January
    CHAMPIONSHIP
    • Blackburn Rovers 19:45 Swansea City 1-1
    Wednesday 27th January
    CHAMPIONSHIP
    • Swansea City 19:00 Brentford 1-1
    Saturday 30th January
    CHAMPIONSHIP
    • Rotherham United 15:00 Swansea City 1-3
    All dates and times subject to revision.

    Please predict:

    a) total points gained from the 5 Championship games

    b) total goals scored in the 5 Championship games + FA Cup 3rd round v. Stevenage

    c) total goals conceded in the 5 Championship games + FA Cup 3rd round v. Stevenage

    So, that's points gained from 5 games but goals scored and conceded from 6 games !!

    Predictions must be in by 14:59 on Saturday 2nd January.
