Whilst I'm not relegating Sheff U after 3 games, last season is starting to look like a one off. 2 of the three teams they've played, Villa and Leeds, are the teams they really needed to beat. Starting to look like the excitement of being back in the PL, players and the fans, fuelded them to reach alot higher than they should have. Gave them an extra energy to play above themselves, I expect a similar thing for Leeds this season. Sheff U on the other hand will be in a relegation battle this year, although I think they'll probably survive.
Newcastle have a 100% converstion rate. They've had 2 shots on target in 3 games, both in the 2-0 win against Wham
Absolutely ridiculous decision. How can this be a penalty when it was totally unpremeditated and so close? it is now more worth aiming your shot at the defenders arms than to shoot at goal. Total farce.
If you are a player the best thing to do is blast the ball into the crowded opposition penalty area and hope it hits an arm!
Just popped over to the Spurs board, to say they are not happy would be an understatement. Can't say I blame them as it was never a penalty. I think this season it is more important than ever to bury any chances you get, if there is one goal in it a daft penalty decision may be just around the corner
You have to laugh cos you know you’re gonna get one against your own team down the line at some point. As you say, just have to hope it’s given when you’re 2/3 goals up rather than just the 1
This has totally f#cked up my acca which was looking a bit tasty. If Spurs had won, I would have only needed a villa win tomorrow for a very nice Four figure payout. Stupid Spurs should have put their chances away though
City already 1-0 up. I was hoping Leicester would give them a run for their money, but does not look good
Lmfao Impartial bbc still using the prem trophy with Cities ribbons on to advertise PL on their live feed We just imagine it though
