So West Brom. Arguably worse team in league with smallest budget. Currently 2 points off 17th, just drew with city away from home.

sacked their manager and looking to bring in fat Sam <laugh>

    Football huh...

With the results at the weekend, we had a real opportunity to steal a lead. We blew it. After results last night, the opportunity is there again. Let's not blow it again <ok>

Not sure where to put this so it's here:
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-55220140
An interesting article on the Beeb about Craig Johnston's arrival from Oz as a 15 year old kid, his trial with Middlesborough, and a first encounter with Jack Charlton.

"Jack Charlton came in at half-time and we were getting beat 3-0. He was red with rage. Managers weren't even supposed to be at trial matches.

"He had a go at everyone. He went around the room and said 'you're useless, you're rubbish, you're hopeless'. Then he got to me.

"He asked me where I'm from and I said 'I'm from Newcastle, Northern New South Wales, Australia'.

"Charlton replied: 'Well, you are the worst footballer I have ever seen in my life. You won't make a player while your arse still points to the ground. Now hop it.' But he didn't say hop it.

"Everyone was stunned and horrified, including me."

    What a lovely man.

Anyone else find the irony somewhat amusing that united are claiming that the word used by Cavani in his social media post was ‘clearly used in an affectionate manner and has different connotations in his home country’

I haven’t checked abs can’t be 100% sure, but did they say the same thing about Suarez when he used it towards evra?

Is the big difference that nobody has claimed to be offended by it?
