Wolves are a decent side playing without a striker. Utd were a bit off so it was always likely to take a mistake by Wolves, a stroke of luck or a moment of genius. There was no moment of genius or mistake by Wolves. It happens.
They are so inconsistent and together with their very poor form at home I can’t see them challenging for long. They’ll disappear soon enough into mid table.
I dunno. They put a decent run together at the back end of last season to get top 4. They have quality individuals, it’s their style that is lacking imo. Great on the counter attack, not so great breaking teams down. Remains to be seen how they perform for the rest of the season or deal with injuries to key players but I wouldn’t rule them out at all. Note: I said this about Spurs 3 weeks ago
It seems inevitable that there will be A two week break coming after this round of fixtures. This will be good for us because we can get our players back such as Matip and Naby, whilst Shaq, Thiago and Milner will get sharper. Also means Jota and Kostas will be closer to coming back
There is a flip side. With the Euros in the summer there will have to be an end date for the league, CL and the rest. No games now means more games later, when would the missed games be played especially for the teams in Europe. The schedule is already compacted, now add in a winter break.
yep, there is pretty much no room to fit in these games unless internationals are moved / postponed. But I think there will be pressure from the public / government for the whole country to go into tier 4 and possibly a new tier 5.
Ponder that for a moment, there was talk of checking family homes at Christmas to see who's there, but international football can go ahead. Can't open your ****ty car wash, but massive chain stores can have them open. Cant get a steak but Amazon can infect 20k of its employees and others with their millions of deliveries Lockdowns obviously don't work. The US is proving that like nowhere else
given the numbers only go up when lockdowns are lifted I think it’s pretty obvious to say that they do work
Yes, of course they work. The science, and logic, would tell us if that we all stayed perfectly isolated for a couple of months then the virus would have nowhere to go and disappear. This is clearly impractical, so a balance has to be found between inhibiting the spread and allowing society to function as best as possible. As with most things, individuals will have their own opinion on what is considered necessary or allowable, and as with most things, many take it as a personal affront if not everyone agrees with them.
'Allardyce wants football circuit break amid rising Covid cases' http://www.skysports.com/share/12175214 If he'd said he was worried about players, coaches and everyone else involved in football it would be fine, but he talked about himself. Nobody forced him to make a return (to a million pound job!) less than a fortnight ago! ****ing prick
If the Vaccine works and football is important to keep people entertained during the lockdown, why not immunize the players and get on with it? Not saying it should happen but it seems a key part of what people look forward to in these tough times
No chance. The uproar would be huge and rightly so. There are people who are dying, people who do important jobs who need it to support those dying. Give a load of those jabs to footballers who about 0.01% have caught it and of those about 0.01% actually feel any affect would be a huge waste.
Someone should have told him he should try wearing a mask properly then ducking idiot. Had it round his throat all game against us
Nope. Minor characteristics have changed, but fundamentally the same virus and therefore the same vaccines will work.
