He has the right to have that viewpoint (about gays) but people have the right to look down in him in disgust for having that viewpoint.
TBF i don't think his reasons matter one iota, we should all have a right to choose what we are prepared to promote and not have to give a reason why if we refuse to promote something. Going to be silly now to emphasise this, the man might have an irrational fear of rainbows from his childhood or something The point is, he didn't want to wear it and it should be his choice regardless. "my body, my choice" (what covers it )
Not everyone agrees with the gay lifestyle, whether they are religious or non-religious. What this particular case is showing us is that those 'disgusted' by his viewpoint see their view as being the only view and the right view and coming after those with a different opinion with condemnation. It's a divisive topic and tends to bring out the worst in people unfortunately.
Spot on. We get told time and time again that everybody has the right to their opinion/beliefs but it seems that only applies to those with the right opinion/belief.

Hes proper bitter about the his time under hicks and Gillett, I mean I get it but he should just chill a bit as it could be misunderstood as talking against the club itself. He can't help it tho I don't think, the fact rant for example
Not wanting to wear a shirt because it promoted equally for homosexuality is not much different than refusing take part in the symbolic taking the knee against racism. Just a different bias. Does it mean he is a bad person in all ways and all regards, no, but I do clearly believe he is in the wrong and it's shows a major character flaw in him. I mean, religion was used as the excuse for slavery, so religion doesnt hold water as an excuse for me. It's an explanation of his bias but not a justification.
This is the Donald trump elon musk viewpoint though. Everyone can have free speech, can have their own beliefs and can say it under what ever amendment the Americans shoved that under. That doesn’t mean that discriminating against people based on their sexual preference is right Just because it’s ‘their opinion’. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Think most agree with that. But it’s when that opinion is dangerous, discriminatory or hurtful that it becomes an issue which clearly this is.
How do you equate someone deciding not to wear a particular item of clothing to discriminating against people based on their sexuality? The man didn't want to wear it, he didn't discriminate against anyone yet you seem to be doing just that by inferring he should do as he is told.
Last three FA Cup winners were ARSENA, EICESTER and IVERPOO... If you're wondering where the L's are, Chelsea took them all!
